Finding the right hotel isn't straightforward since it's one of four sharing a complex, and reception is unstaffed. The TV size is disappointingly small, less than 30 inches, while the absence of basic amenities like a tissue box and coffee-making facilities creates inconveniences. Struggling with inadequate space, cramped bedding arrangements, and a poorly designed towel rack only adds to the unease of navigating the bathroom areas.

Just a top selection for a couple of nights in Monchique with good price-value balance. The gardens were well-maintained and provided a refreshing atmosphere to relax in. Try to get a room with a mountain view for a better experience.

I loved the breathtaking mountain views from my room and the peaceful ambiance throughout the grounds. The thermal facilities, though a bit outdated, offered a unique charm reminiscent of old sanatoriums, and the continental breakfast was quite satisfying. I did find the distance to the restaurant inconvenient, especially when it would have been nice to access such amenities on-site.

We were severely lucky to get placed in the suite,, everything you wanted was in there and the cleanliness was unmatched. Plus, sitting outside in the massive courtyard listening to an excellent guitarist while sipping our after dinner drinks was a memory I won't forget.

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly,, but acceptable for the experience.
